We partnered with Walsh Branding and Retrospec Films to concept, develop and bring the story of Boom to life in a way that would make all Tulsans proud and bring entrepreneurial Tulsa the attention it deserves. Be Your Own Boom means Tulsa is a place to live the life you want, doing what you love, with the people you love. Tulsa is being built every day by individuals who refuse to settle for less. Our message is an open invitation to come and Be Your Own Boom.
The Be Your Own Boom video has received more than 50,000 views via social media with no official launch strategy and no media budget.
Developing the collaboration team’s concept, Cubic put together inspirational moodboards to drive the rest of the creative development for Boom.
To convey the real spirit of Boom in Tulsa, Retrospec Films produced a concept video that quickly went viral and has now been shared more than 35,000 times with no formal promotion or budget.
We created a final giant brand moodboard for presentation to more than 100 Tulsa leaders, who had high praise for the work. One of the first executions of Boom launched at SXSW in 2015. Tulsa’s unique Boom Factory exhibit featured work designed, produced and installed by the Cubic team.
We designed Be Your Own Boom T-shirts. They were sold as a fundraiser to help fund a special Tulsa Community College scholarship program.
